Roadtrip: Anvaya Cove

Thursday, April 22, 2010

MIL celebrates her 68th birthday with a series of roadtrip. Anvaya Cove was the first leg. We left Manila a bit late already because the kids had to do finish some requirements in school. It took us a little over 2 hours to get to Subic. We had lunch at Teriyaki Boy first before proceeding to Anvaya Cove. It's a second for me and the hubs at Anvaya, and the first for the kids. Like us, they enjoyed so much. It was fun swimming in the beach, and it was nice lounging around the pool too. Nope, no tan lines for us since we got to the place pretty late, the sun was not harsh enough to produce tan lines in our bodies. Good if I may say since it's not really good to stay under the sun. Yeah I know, going to the beach is not complete without those tan lines/sunburn. Probably next time then, but no, we are scared to get skin CA.

*more stories to come - we did 3 legs.

Beach is Fun

Wednesday, May 07, 2008

We promised the kids to bring them to the beach before school starts. It could have been Bora, but then some things came up, like Isha's vacation to the US in early April. Oh that means we no longer have the extra moolah to spend supposedly for the Bora trip. Anyways just to hold true to the promise, we brought them to Subic. The water was clean but the shore is not long enough. Maybe I was just used to the long stretch of white sand at Bora. Enuf complaining. We had fun actually. This is only the 2nd time that the kids have been to the beach. They don't actually remember their first time coz they were like 2 and 4 at that time. All they remember is this - they don't like to step on the sand coz they find it dirty, hehe.

Summer Activities

Thursday, June 21, 2007

Eversince, I have always thought of things to do for the summer for my kids. I don't want them to be idle on this vacation months from school. I enrol them to fun activities like arts, sports, dancing or whatever they have in mind.

Having our children participate in Summer Camps is one of the best way for them to spend summer. They will not only enjoy the experience but at the same time learn from them. As parents, it is always our ultimate goal to give the best of what is offered to our children. We want them to spend their summer fruitfully.
