The Scene Reminded me to....

My heart really broke when i saw these group of people waiting at the entrance of National Kidney and Transplant Institute for their names to be called for hemodialysis...it was really a pity...you see them patiently waiting, the others have fallen asleep in wheelchairs...others arriving as early as dawn just to be able to get a slot...and the hospital can only accommodate as much charity cases...not a sight to behold...
My Dad is having his first hemodialysis today...yep, it's his first, considering the fact that we had the preparation (fistula) as early as year 2000...he is now confined at the hospital simply because his case is quite complicated...he has been in and out of the hospital lately...i hope everything will work out with God's grace and I'm claiming His victory...
With the scene and everything, this made me think really hard...you see i'm a shop til you drop person, like there is no tommorrow...it hasn't even cross my mind, i may be well today, but will i be tommorrow? i don't wanna be one of "them"...an awakening indeed!
