Cool Stuff for Trade Shows

Friday, December 30, 2011

We used to do bridal fairs a couple of years back. I wish I had discovered these Trade show display cases because this can really be put to good use. I just know that this is what we need. We could have saved more space for the people to freely move, yes our booth was always full. I'm not bragging but yeah we had lots of clients when we first started. It's just sad that the husband does not want to do any of this anymore. I think he got tired and wants to try out other stuff. Being the supportive wife (ahem) that I am, I will try and encourage him to do good in whatever new endeavor he wants to go into.

Officially Sick!

I was already a bit sick when we left for Baguio about 4 days ago. We only stayed there for 2 nights and it made me more sick. I thought my cough and colds would go away coz I was already taking meds for it. But lo and behold it got worse that I don't need to buy firecrackers for the New Year. Ewwww I know but what better way to describe my cough but that :D

Anyway, we enjoyed our Baguio trip. It was stress-free. I'd love to do this yearly in fact we already agreed that we'd do it every after Christmas. We don't really get to travel that much as a family so this is pretty much a welcome treat.

We Love Music

Monday, December 05, 2011

I was just talking about how I loved music when I was younger and that I think my kids took that after me. Both of them have made known their desire to learn an instrument or two. They already started and I am just waiting for the next instrument they want to learn. I think I see the daughter more interested in the Yamaha Drums while my boy is pretty much into strings. But I can also see that he wants to play the drums. I wish the husband played even one instrument. It would be a wonderful bonding time with all of us playing an instrument each.

Golf Course GPS

GPS goes to the golf course. Isn't that cool? If you want to have one, maybe you can get hold of the golf gps finder which I heard is one of the best. GPS in itself is already cool and I can't get over the fact that it can be used in a golf game. Wow! Talking about accuracy and all. This will probably give you the edge over other players if you have one. I wonder if every player has this one and if it's even an must have. Sorry I don't know the answer to that since none of us play golf. You can probably tell me, right?

A Hospital Scene

Monday, November 21, 2011

I recently watched this series on television (sorry the title escapes me at the moment)and there's this scene that caught my attention. It was actually a hospital scene and I couldn't help but wonder if we have it. I have not been too many hospitals here but with the 2 hospitals that we often go to, I have not seen them use computer carts. I find it cool and this is probably the reason why I particularly remember that scene. It's so convenient too, with just a few clicks everything can be recorded and retrieved. Anyway, I will let you guys know if we have it here already or vice versa.

Lucky Me!

I love it when F21 goes on sale. This one was not announced though. I didn't have any idea that they were having it. I just happened to meet with N at Megamall and I couldn't let the opportunity of checking F21 pass. I wasn't planning on buying either but how can you resist a double 50% off, right? Yes some items were sold at 50% plus another 50% off when you pay at the counter. Not only that items sold at 50% off get another item, so it's buy 1 take 1. Oh sheeesh, am I making sense? Anyway I got that skirt and a swimwear top for a little over P200 only. What a great deal! I wish they had more items that was on sale though. I know I am asking for too much :P

The Smell of Coffee Wakes Me Up

I used to go to Starbucks a lot for my coffee, but then I realized that it leaves a hole in my pocket. That's when I decide to purchase my own coffee maker. I am happy to say that I am one of the proud owners of these krups coffee makers. It's so easy to use and I can say it's durable too. I had mine for more than 5 years now and it's working just fine. I can say too that it will last another 5 years and even beyond. This is something to look forward to, imagine waking up in the mornings to a house that smells good coffee, simply the best!

The Everyday Scrub

Wednesday, November 02, 2011

Wow! I see a lot of nurses everyday, not! Relax, it's just that I see a lot of people wearing nursing scrubs. It's no longer confined to nurses this days. I don't have anything against it and I can't blame the spa people for deciding to use those scrubs too, it's comfortable. I myself have used it for sleeping instead of the traditional jammies, like I said it's comfy. So there, that's probably the reason why not only nurses sport the scrubs nowadays. One more thing, have you noticed that it comes in different colors already? Boring white is now out of the question.

I Want an iPhone, Shouts Everyone

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

With the latest ios update which allows one to use the iMessage (this is similar to BBM), a lot are asking, where can I buy iphone? I can understand why almost all want to get a hold of an iPhone. I was one of them and I am waiting and wanting an upgrade. But I don't think I'll get the current upgrade, I'll just probably wait for iPhone5 to come out. When is that you ask? Real soon, you know how the apple people come out with products. Sometimes I can't catch up anymore. Do you feel the same way?

I have another form of communication with my online bff. Online because we still haven't met in person. But even if that is the case, we still treat each other like we are blood sisters. I think I've known her since 2006 or 2007 via blogging. I stumbled upon her site and left a comment. From then on there's no stopping of our friendship. I am so looking forward to meeting her and her family probably next year. Just thinking about it makes me excited!

What Do you Think, Mom?

I find my daughter cute. She's very thoughtful especially to the bf. She inherited that trait from me. I don't know but I think girls are generally thoughtful. Recently she asked for suggestions regarding the gift for boyfriend birthday. She mentioned a few items which she thinks the bf would like. Sometimes I would go, I think that is too expensive, remember you don't have work yet. Yes, I can tell her those things after all we have a very close relationship. Besides what I'm saying is exactly correct. Why spend on things which you can't afford just yet? I think the bf would understand.

Photos Ready to be Shown

I have so much photos of the family to share. It's all stored here in my computer. Question is when can I have the time to upload everything? Just thinking about it makes me go lazy already. But no, photos as intended to be shared. Maybe I should create a slide show of all the wonderful photos I have and post it on Facebook for all my friends and loved ones to see. Yeah, I think I'll do that. I have to limit my game time though and really put effort on putting all these photos together.

I have been looking for these plastic shoe boxes for ages already. I know, there are a lot of plastic shoe boxes in the home section of every mall, but then the price is always in consideration. Can you imagine if those shoe boxes were priced at P200 each. No way I can afford to pay for it. Anyway, I found those shoe boxes in SM and was very reasonably priced at P125 for 2. That's because it's buy 1 take 1. I could have gotten more, but that was what (40 boxes) I can afford at that time. I want to buy 20 more boxes and I am hoping that it is still on sale. And I also need some more silica gel to put inside the box to help absorb the moisture.

Unfortunately, there are also problems that can occur from time to time when you own an animal and it can make it difficult for everyone that is involved. It is not only the family that suffers when a dog is lacking in training, it is also the dog which suffers as well. That is why it is so important for you to make sure that the dog is trained properly, and you are able to do that with the right dog training services. It's Rare

I'm not really sure if there are still coin collectors nowadays. Do they still exist? I'm sorry but I don't know anyone who collects coins. My FIL had coins and he gave us 1 each but I don't consider him as a collector. Anyway the reason why I am asking is because I recently came across these morgan dollar coins over the internet. Based on what I read, these are rare coins simply because they produced very limited supply. So if you are one of those who are into coins, I think you should get one of these. I don't know really, but yeah can you please let me know if what I am thinking is right? You know better than I do.

What's with men and cars particularly wheels? When the husband has a new car, first thing he does is change the wheels. Nope, he can't settle what goes with the car and that I don't really understand. So what I did that time was search the internet so that I would know the difference between what's stock and what he actually prefers. Then I found 2 crave wheels. At first I didn't see any difference. Don't shoot me, I'm a girl after all. I had to ask him and he explained every detail which I seem to understand. When I looked at it again, at least I can now spot the difference.

It's more like calorie in and out. I really need to control my food intake, otherwise nothing will happen. But how do I do that? I really do not have any idea, an appetite suppressant perhaps? I've actually started snacking on raw almonds, hopefully it will always keep me full. I also bought some tea that will help to suppress my appetite, so wish me luck?

Perfect for my Brows

Photobucket Woot! I finally found the perfect eyebrow pencil or is it even a pencil? They sell those at Faceshop. I frequent that shop, but it's the first time that I've seen that product. I am happy that they came up with one since I have been in search for the perfect match for my brows.

Photobucket I also love the fact that it has a spoolie at the other end. Very useful indeed since it blends the harsh lines created by the pencil. Just a little upward motion and you are all set to go! I bought only one but I need to buy some more since the "lead" is just about 2 inches. I normally do my brows everyday. I need to remind myself to stock up otherwise I would really feel bad if the store runs out.

Entrance Exam Season

I brought my son to UP Diliman today. He was scheduled to take the UPCAT. He was a bit worried and didn't have enough confidence. I just told him to do his best. It was a 4-hour examination, and he said it was very hard. He left items he didn't know, no room for guessing he says. I asked him if he was sure about his answers, and he said he was 90 percent sure. Thing is he left a lot of items blank too, so I don't really know his chance of passing. If you ask me how come he left a lot of items blank, it's because it's right minus wrong. No wild guesses here, only educated guesses, he says. I am still hoping though that he makes it, who knows, right?

Then I saw this counter where they sell e cig. I noticed that every time I pass by that area, there are always lots of people. I got curious, so I checked. Little did I know that this would be the start of it. I bought him his first e cig and there was no turning back. What I am expecting from him now is to lower the number of milligrams in the "juice". Hopefully it'll be 0 in no time.

Scorching Heat

I heard that summer in the US is really terrible this time. They are experiencing heat wave. Everybody is complaining, I read it in status updates in Facebook, in Twitter and even when I talk with my siblings. It must really be hot, and nobody likes scorching heat, right? I asked them if their Ductless Air conditoners are working fine and they said yes. I guess it must really be that hot. Now they are all looking forward to winter. Well this means only one thing, they'd choose winter over heat wave. Poor people in America. But you know what's funny? Kids seem to enjoy the heat. None of them are complaining in fact they are still out there doing their own thing and enjoying summer. And maybe when they feel the heat, they would come rushing inside their houses and turn on the mini split air conditioner they have. It gives some relief I tell you. This is the reason why I have ductless air conditioner which has an Energy Star Approval installed in each room. I think it's a must for every household living in the tropics...well only if one can afford to buy it and of course to pay for the electricity. But I have rules when it comes to the use of it. I only allow them to use when it's really very hot, otherwise I tell them to just settle using the electric fan. But at nights we really turn it on so that everyone will be well rested. Hhmm, this gives me an idea, why not buy one that has inverter next time so that electric consumption will be lessened. With this, maybe I can extend the use of the a/c. It's nice to start the day when you feel that you have slept really well.

We just started on a project, we will be buying new colors each week so that it wouldn't cause a hole in the pocket. Not Just Eyewear

Thursday, July 28, 2011

When my kids were in elementary, I made a friend with one of Moms in school. You see I used to frequent the school a lot especially on lunch breaks because I bring them freshly cooked food every time. Apparently, this Mom I made friends with does the same. We became close and eventually became very good friends. She is an optometrist by profession and her clinic is just near the school. I used to spend a lot of time in her clinic while waiting for the kids to be dismissed. It was there that I was introduced to Oakley products. I was exposed to their eyewear collection more, truth be told. I wasn't really aware that they had more stuff like these oakley bags. You see I am not really a mall person and if ever I go to the malls I go straight to the shops where I am suppose to buy the things that I need. I seldom go around because it's kinda tiring if you know what I mean. Anyway, going back to their bag collection, they do have a large array of bags. I think every bag that we need, they have it in their collection. I had a nice time browsing through their collection. At least I know what brand to buy whenever I need a specialty bag. I do have one in mind already at its the carry on roller bag. I think I'll be needing it for travels. It's the perfect size actually. Then I'm gonna try and save up for the medium and large ones. And there's a large collection of oakley backpacks to choose from too. I wonder if my boy would prefer using backpacks this time. I think he should since he'll be in college soon. I see a lot of college students use backpacks whenever I bring my eldest daughter to school. When we spot a really nice one, my daughter and I would really wonder what brand it is. Then we'd secretly wish to have it in our bag collection...not that we have too many. But yeah, girls just can't get enough bags and shoes too for that matter. I just don't know with other girls who are not into it, but I'm pretty sure they are into something else. But seriously, why can't girls have enough bags and shoes? Is it really that insatiable? And there's one more silly question...is it hereditary? I think my daughter inherited such a trait (trait?) nah, I think it's more of liking from me.

The Perfect Gift for Mom

Whatever gadget my husband has, I have it too, or at least I know how to operate it. I'm no longer ignorant on its operation and all, gone are those days! Anyway, the reason I am mentioning this is to give you an idea on what to get your Mom on Mother's Day. I'd vote for electronics. I know she will be happy getting one. There was a point that I read about the game since I heard it can get interesting and really relaxing. I gathered that a golf putter set can help make or break the game. It is very important to have the best set since it is designed to give the player an advantage. I wonder which putter is really the best. I think I need to ask the help of a professional golfer so that I would really know which are the popular ones.

Anyway, my son wants to learn basketball. He started last summer. I was happy when he told me he wanted to learn. I want my son to have his own fitness routine, something to keep him in shape. Now that he has chosen this sport, I will let him wear ankle support basketball. I don't want him to hurt his ankles. I've seen a lot of boys hurt their ankles and I think this is the number one injury when you play basketball because it involves a lot of jumping. But be very careful though when you choose what support to wear, pick one that fits comfortably, one that will not restrict your movements when you start playing.

But I have learned that it is important for a person to find the right coverage, one that suits his need. Now how do you do that? Most people ask for assistance from people in the know. They say that it's time consuming going through all of it and yet the coverage they need is not met. But these people who are experts when it comes to this field can give you the right coverage and can also tackle your Medicare part D plan. I can't believe I now own a pair. I made a reservation at The Forum (SM Makati) several months ago. I left my name and contact number and the style I intend to buy. I never got a call from them. Forgiven because even if my name wasn't on the list, they still accommodated me. They gave me the Lita (black) that I asked them to reserve for me. Thank you very much.

I love the shoes, it's sky-high alright, but it's very comfortable, not at all ill-fitting. You know that it's really worth paying for the price. I couldn't find the color that I used anymore so it left me no choice but to pick the closest color. It looks strange, half of the crown looks dirty including the brim. Hopefully the crown with the light color won't be seen when worn. Tsk, I failed in this project.

Dog Stuff

Sunday, May 29, 2011

Big dogs, small dogs, it does not matter anymore. I see them around all dressed up. I say it's cute because it really is. They turn a lot of heads. I guess it all started when this movie about dogs getting dressed was shown. Sorry the title escapes me at the moment. It was in that movie where I saw unique dog collars. As a lot of people would term it as, to die for. I wonder if the dogs feel the same way, hehe. You'd really be surprised how dog lovers want to dress up their pets nowadays. There are different kinds of collars you see nowadays, from the traditional ones to pimped ones. I love collars pimped with gems in different colors. It gives the dog a certain character. Oh, I don't know if you are familiar with Martingale dog collars, I heard it's durable and comfortable. I need to get one for our shih tzu. This reminds me to bring my dog for grooming too. The grooming salon probably carries that brand. Diego, our GSD needs to have a new collar too. I wish they have one I like from these big dog collars. I want his collar pimped too. I think it's cute, a big dog with a collar that is filled with gems in different colors. Don't be deceived though, he is still tough as he can be.

More Knitting

You'll see me knit more starting today. I don't know if I can hold on to that promise. But as it is, it gives me no choice really. This is what I will be doing while waiting for my son get out of review class. I am his designated driver all the time and I don't want to waste my time (4.5 hours) doing nothing. So there, now you know why I don't have any choice. Actually I was the one who decided to knit instead of going to some internet cafe doing farmville.

I see wellness and beauty promoted all over. This only means one thing, people are getting conscious each day. Everybody wants to look young, pretty and sexy. I myself have started doing fitness simply because I want to improve my lifestyle. I do want to lose all those unwanted weight too so I'm burning it out in the gym. Some people resort to diet pills. I am not against it but then again one has to be careful when taking it. Claims may not be true at all so if I were you I would go and check www.adipexdietpills.org and all those sites that does reviews of these diet pills. You may pick a thing or two, or better yet before you decide to take on anything, a doctor must be consulted.

She Needs Power Heat Soon

Saturday, May 21, 2011

I wonder if my sister had her heater fixed already. I know it's going to be summer soon and there is really no use for a heater. Well I just remembered that she is suppose to have it fixed because while going through some websites in the internet, I came across this infrared heater. Then I suddenly remembered, did she have it fixed or did she just buy a portable one? I still have not asked her. I haven't talked with her yet (skype) and hopefully I don't forget to ask her when I get the chance.

My New Pair of Adidas

I'd like to thank my SIL for this nice pair of Adidas training shoes. This was her Mother's Day gift to me. I bought it in Hong Kong when we went there a last week. Whenever I'm there, I see to it that I bring home a pair. The styles there are more beautiful in my opinion. There are even styles that do not come out here in the Philippines like the pair I bought a couple of months back (November). Oh did you notice my nail polish? It matches my shoes. This is OPI's Shatter. It's cool!

Dad's Favorite Sport

We are celebrating Father's Day this June. I miss my Dad so much. I have accepted the fact the he has gone to be with the Lord. It's been 5 years already. I am a certified Daddy's girl and everyone in the family knows that. They would tease me alright, but I know they are never jealous of me.

Anyway, one thing I miss about Dad is the time spent playing ping pong. He was the one who taught us how to play ping pong. He was a champion when it comes to this game. He would always practice at home so that he can defend his title every time there is a tournament in their office. I see ping pong tables being set-up at their office whenever there is a game. I would gladly watch and was always proud whenever Dad wins. Yes, he is that good in ping pong. I wonder why none of us kids went into this sports?

Mobile Phone Watching

Thursday, May 12, 2011

My daughter and I have this habit of observing what kind of cellphones people use in every country that we visit. Not that we've been to many countries, but we already have an idea what each country go for in terms of usage and style. I can't help but notice that a lot of people in Hong Kong are using htc virgin. You can also find it in most stores. I did a little reading about this mobile phone and I gathered that the speed is really good. It also has a high resolution camera and a high definition video recorder. You can actually get by even without your camera and video camera.

Mother's Day at Hong Kong Disneyland

I spent Mother's Day at Hong Kong Disneyland with the kids. To make it more memorable, they dared me to ride the space mountain. I've been to HK Disney twice already and they never got me to ride. With too much prodding, I agreed even if I really do not know whether I'd survive it. Surprisingly it felt good and I'd do it over and over again. It wasn't as bad as I thought. The turns and drops were awesome, it added more excitement to the ride. It was a smooth ride too and IMO it won't cause any neck injury. So yeah, I rode the space mountain and I survived!

Reviews on Supplements

Monday, May 02, 2011

I guess almost all who go to the gym take supplements one way or another. I am actually talking about people who lift weights. I guess majority of them do, although I do not know which particular brand they take. I do not know too which brands are effective so if you ask me about tren xtreme I really do not know what to answer. But you know what, there are dozens of reviews about the product so if I were you if you are really interested in taking it, might as well read whatever you can find on the internet. That's what I actually do whenever I am interested in a product.

An Idea in Mind

Oh now I remember! Yes we actually have a Banner stand. I don't need to buy a new one or even borrow. I wonder if the husband remembers where he stored them. He actually used it during one of the bridal fairs we used to join. He has to find it by hook or by crook because I will be needing it very soon. A special occasion is coming up and that banner stand will come in handy. I have a cute idea I need to share and this will make the celebrant cherish her special day more.

Good Luck!

I started on this thing two weeks ago. Yes I was serious back then, but I don't know what happened. I was religious for 4 days and after that, it got crazy. We were invited to a simple birthday dinner, then we had a holiday somewhere where it required to eat much, just kidding. I was just justifying what I did. So there, first try was not a success. Today, I started with it again and hopefully I will be able to do so until day 14. Good luck to me.

The Electronic Age

I'm thinking of a wonderful project. I have lots of photos that I need to scan, back from my childhood days up the present. I want to convert this photos to electronic ones so that if anything happens to it, I have a copy. I also plan to make an online album so I can share it with my friends and loved ones. I guess I need a scanner software for this. It will not be limited to photos only but I can actually convert it to a business. Double purpose, eh. Most companies will be needing this, and I'll probably start offering my services to small companies. I think it will be a welcome idea to them, converting paper files to electronic files.

Everything You Need to Know

I was looking for a particular product online, lo and behold, I saw a lot of beauty products. Some I've seen and heard for the first time, some I've used a few years back and the rest I only see in the pages of a magazine. I am delighted having found it online, at least it's easier to look for it since I've bookmarked the page. I also like the part where they do a review of the product. They do it extensively in such a way that everything else you need to know is already being answered or discussed.

Man it's P3,500. I hate myself for missing such a great deal. Now where was I when that was happening? Darn English Countryside, darn Farmville. Camera Reviews

Just yesterday while having lunch, I asked the husband about this certain camera which has been the talk of the town lately. He wasn't that familiar with it, because I gave it it's alternative name. Anyway the first thing he did when I asked him was to go to digital camera reviews so he can explain to me why that camera is getting raves. Learning from him the details of the camera, it made me want to own one. But I have to put it aside first because I have other things in mind which I guess is more important. The camera can wait, anyway the one I have is still functioning well and I am satisfied with its performance.

That Special Event

Awww, the daughter is past HS prom age. She's now in college. I'm glad she was able to experience going the the prom although their school never had one. Never in it's history I tell you. Why? I really do not know. She considers it lucky that she was able to go. I know that prom she went to has become a very special event, I am not telling you why. Anyway, I came up with something like these prom dresses for her to wear. She looked like a princess, very pretty in her orange gown. I still remember that night. She was stunning, even I can't take my eyes off her. She was a head turner that evening, but no she didn't win a special award. But to me she will always be a winner.

She's Gonna Drive Soon

I accompanied the daughter today to get her driver's license. We went to LTO Tayuman. We got there quite late so there were lots of people already. I'm glad I went with her. I learned a lot of things which I normally take for granted. A lot of things became clearer now, which to my opinion everyone should know before going out on the streets. I admit, I don't know half of what those signs mean, especially those ones that I don't encounter everyday. At least now I know. The one who gave the lecture at LTO Tayuman was effective. Kudos to him.

Condo Living

Friday, March 25, 2011

Even if how much I want some modern furnishings at home,I just can't at the moment. It would just be off, our interior wasn't made for modern stuff. Well that is just my opinion. But this does not stop me from dreaming that one day I can still have one of these Modern Dining Tables, probably at my second home, a condo unit perhaps. It's free to dream, right? But I have a strong feeling that someday I will have it, if not one of my children. I know they want something modern. They can always Buy Dining Furniture since they can't have what we have right now. It's just not fit for condo living. Hhhmmm, I'm not really sure if they'd go for condo living but sometimes they do talk about it. Question is, will they get used to it? We have a closely knit family so I doubt they will be on their own if they are not married yet. But if time will come that they want to be on their own, I will allow them provided I can see that they are responsible enough to be away from us. Anyway, going back to what we are talking about, even if these Modern Bar Stools don't fit our house, I still want to have one or two of it. I will make it blend, after all it's not impossible to do those things nowadays.

So Who's Getting Married?

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

I know of some people who are getting married early next year. As early as now, they are already preparing. I know, you'll say it's too early. But didn't you know that it is the trend nowadays to really prepare early, like a year in advance? Yeah that's how it is contrary to my preparation of six months when I got married. There are a lot of changes happening too that made me think, I should have gotten married this year. Anyway, I am just wondering if the couples I know have chosen their Wedding Bands already. I probably have to ask them the next time I see them. I will mention to them that I found this website called 25karats.com. They have awesome looking wedding bands that are customizable. I myself would choose a customizable one too, of course according to what I desire.

Anyway since I mentioned this site that I found online, let me share with you that they have a wide array of Engagement Rings to choose from. I went through some of it and I was salivating, you know what that means already, right? Hhhmmm, I still have my chance of owning one. My wedding anniversary is on August and we are on our 19th year already. I think I deserve one of these Anniversary Rings. Nineteen years is nineteen years, not all can celebrate 19 years of being together.

Building Our House

Monday, March 07, 2011

The thing that I enjoyed the most when we were building our house was to scout for fixtures. Although I already have a idea in mind, most often than not I can't decide because of all the beautiful things that I see. I keep changing my mind on the things that I want. For one, I had a hard time choosing the lights that we were going to use. I can't decide which of these chandeliers would look good in the living room and which would look nice at the dining room. It's a good thing, it was the husband who decided which one to get and I couldn't agree more with what he picked.

When you avail of the Conference call services you can get to talk and see each other all at the same time. A conference web call can hold up to 100 participants which companies can benefit from. Cheeky Smiley

The husband and I decided to go up to Baguio for it's annual Panagbenga Festival. It was a first for me and I can say that it's a nice experience. We had a pleasant ride from Manila to Baguio and it took us about 4 hours to get there. We stayed at City Travel Hotel (that was the only available hotel that was not booked yet). We didn't have much choice because it was a late decision. The husband can't make up his mind. Anyway, he told me that in the next Panagbenga, we will stay for two days and witness the float parade too. It was just the street dancing that we witnessed.

We were up at 4 am just to have a good spot at the assembly area. We had to be that early because people line up early too otherwise we won't be able to get good photos. We were not able to take photos at the Athletic Bowl due to strict security. We didn't have the all access id issued by the organizers.

A Must at Concerts

I always tell them that we can't afford front row seats. Good thing we have something like these steiner binoculars. Even if they are far away, they get a glimpse of their favorite artist up close. Well that's how life is. If you can't get what you want, adjustments can be made all the time.

What Diet Supplement Do You Take?

Was there a time that you got tired going to the gym? I've been working out since 2005, taking a rest for about a year only. The reason why I asked you this is because there was a point in my life that I wanted to discontinue and didn't believe in fitness. My reason? I was not losing weight. I wanted to see some results right away to the point that I wanted to take diet supplements. I heard that when you have it, you are going to see results right away. Well I can't really blame them, this is due to the fact that anything can happen, good and bad.

Anyway, I asked my sister in the US to buy it for me and it finally arrived. I've been on it for a week already and I've seen some results. Not the weight loss though but I noticed that when I do my fitness routine, I sweat more. I don't easily get tired too. I think this thing really works on me. Headphone Needed

As you all know I already got my iPhone4. It took me a while to have it because it was always out of stock. Seems like every Filipino want it. Anyway, I was really very happy that I could jump with joy when I finally got hold of it. The first thing that I bought was a casing. I don't like it scratched or something. Next in line would be a headset. I haven't decided on what to get yet but I heard Plantronics 906 can work with it. This headphone must be good since it uses Altec Lansing sound technology. I know that to be really good. Plantrnics 903 is also compatible with the latest iPhone. I guess either way, it would really sound good. I have quite a lot of music stored on my iPhone4 and it would really be useless if I don't get to listen to it using one of the best headphones. I know the husband would argue with me, but what the heck, I am using my own money to buy it and I have the sole discretion to decide on anything that I think is good. Or am I the one who only think of this?

I don't take afternoon naps simply because I want to be able to sleep early so that I can complete at least the 8 hour sleep required. Well I have not reached the point where I want to take a look at one of the best sleeping aid, but if the problem persist I won't be able to do anything but probably pop a pill. I need my sleep badly because I don't feel good when I wake up the following day. I am kinda grouchy when I lack sleep, I guess everyone is. Hopefully I will be able to have a sound sleep tonight, just like the previous night.

Now She's Driving

Finally my brother was able to teach my daughter how to drive. He was also the one who taught me and we are thrilled that it's the same person who taught us how to drive. Now that the daughter is learning, I know the next step would be, can I drive to school now Mom? Hhhmmm I have to think about it. But first things first, my insurance is expiring soon and I will be looking for a cheap car insurance once again. This is really important since she does not have much experience with driving yet. I don't want to spend much if ever she'll encounter an accident which we can never tell. It would be wonderful to be prepared all the time.

The Long Wait is Ovah!

Yeah the long wait is over. I finally have the iPhone4. It's a good thing I didn't have to wait til mid March as initially said by my service provider. Yes I am so happy and excited. I got so dependent on my iPhone3 that when I sold it, I started terribly missing it. I did get impatient and thought that the idea of selling it was bad and that I had to wait til the iPhone4 should be on my hand before departing with it. It's such a relief that it's with now. Hoping to enjoy it til the next iPhone5 comes out. Teehee!

Do Both Ends Meet?

I hear a lot of people complain about their salary and how they are going to stretch it until the next payday. They all have the same sentiments. They talk about prices of commodities increasing, but there is no increase in the salary. The others have problems of having both ends meet. Now where do you think will they get the money when unexpected expenses come? Some resort to borrowing from relatives, but most people I know avail of payday cash loans. They claim that it's better borrowing from someone who is not part of the family because usually problems arise from this. It's a good thing that it's no longer hard to obtain this payday loan. All you need to do is fill up an application form and just wait for it to get approved. You are not required to fax whatever other companies need, in fact you are not to fax anything. And if you consider it a bonus, they are not doing any credit check too.

Let It Snow

Monday, January 10, 2011

My sister keeps whining when she sees snow, yet she loves it so much. I think it's about time for her to buy one of these toro snow blowers so that she won't do any plowing anymore. I know it's a difficult job to plow even just the driveway and you really need to do it. I will ask her if she's familiar with this snow blower and if she thinks it will help her. I really pity her especially now that she is not 100 percent able. She really needs all the aid she can get. And if it could make life easier for her then I think it's about time that she gets it.

iPhone4 Update

3 more days to go and I'm gonna have my iPhone4! Yes, I am sooooo excited. If you only know how I terribly miss the iPhone that I sold. I am soooo dependent to it. You can't blame me since it keeps me company. I never get bored with an iPhone around. What I am excited about is the new skype vid. I can now see and talk to my sisters anytime. It's so convenient and this is why I love iPhone so much. Yeah I talk like I'm gonna die without it. This is how I WANT it!

Gift Ideas

Yay I'm glad that I already have gift ideas in mind for all the coming occasions. I tell you it's really hard to think of what to give. I don't know if you feel this too, sometimes gift giving becomes stressful already. It's because I run out of ideas. Good thing I recently found online this wonderful idea of a football gift. Many have turned into football fans here and I'm sure that they would love the idea of receiving something that has to do with their favorite sports, besides it's unique.

Iphone4

I sold my iPhone3g a few weeks ago. I miss it terribly. The line at my service provider for an iPhone4 is unbelievable. They say I can get mine in February or March. I don't think I can wait but I can't do anything about it. And why did I sell my other iPhone3g you ask? I wanted to sell it now because I am afraid that I can no longer sell it at the value they are offering me now. The proceeds can help pay for the portion that I am to shoulder when I get the iPhone4. I really can't wait and I am excited!

The Busiest Season

Been really busy and forgot all about this blog and my other blogs too. I don't know but it seemed that this was the busiest time ever. The family had lots of requirements, lots of gifts to give, lots of food to cook. It's probably because the kids are all grown up and each one of them have their own wishes. I almost run out of gift ideas. I didn't even think of giving cigars gifts to the husband's friends. I allowed myself to reach the point that I get headaches just thinking of what to give to a certain person. I know you get me when I say this. Sometimes it's just hard to find certain persons presents, it's either they almost have everything or they have everything.
