Queen of the House

Monday, June 27, 2011

I've been talking about my kitchen countless times already. I hope you don't get bored by what I am about to share with you. I am so proud of myself for helping put together our house. I wasn't really able to help financially, but in one way or another I can say that I have helped a lot. I helped the husband choose some stuff that we put in this house. But he really left me to decide on the kitchen, my turf. Anyway, it's a good thing that he approved of what I picked from these undermount kitchen sinks. He agreed and gave approval of my choice. If you are wondering what it is, this is the undermount kitchen sink that I used. It's the right size for my kitchen and I'm glad I didn't make a mistake of choosing it. It's very basic and it's all I need.

BB Girl

I'm going to finally have my BB tomorrow. I'm glad the husband got it for me in UAE. It's a good thing I waited, I was able to save a few bucks. I'm already excited because I learned from the daughter that the unit is really awesome. She says I'm going to enjoy it. But she warned me though that I shouldn't be like Sarah Palin who uses her BB all the time as told by one of her daughters. I know I'm gonna be like her but only for a month I guess. That really isn't too much to ask, right?

Domesticated Me

I consider myself domesticated. I love taking care of the household. I usually see to it that I am able to provide everything. I see to it too that everything is in order. If something needs repair, I make sure right away that it's going to be done. I love buying stuff for the house too. If the budget doesn't permit, I try to save money so that next time I can buy it. I'm usually the one taking care of household stuff. If you happen to see some of these undermount sinks at home, it's because I chose it over those elaborate ones. I want mine functional according to my needs. This undermount sink is what I have at home. So far it has served its purpose. How about you, how do you like buying stuff for your house? Do you get to enjoy going to home depots and scout for things that you need?

Scouting for a New Mobile

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

I plan to get a mobile phone for my birthday. I haven't really decided yet which to get. There are a lot of nice mobile phones available and I have to get to know them first before buying. I haven't done any browsing lately, so I am not updated with the latest units. But I heard though that samsung gravity is good. It has both a touchscreen and keyboard. It's actually the keyboard that is appealing to me so I think I would consider it. Price-wise, it's also affordable. I have a samsung unit and I am satisfied with it, so this is one thing to be considered too.

I Hit Something!!!

It hurts! Means only one thing, I gave my all. Wait, before you think of anything else, I got this from Muay Thai. My instructor has a way of getting all my strength to punch. It's only my second session, so I don't really know how it will turn out. Someone suggested that I apply cold and hot compress, yeah I think I will do that, if not I'm afraid I won't be able to do 3rd session.

Medicare Assistance

Monday, June 20, 2011

How hard is it to decide on a Medicare coverage? I really don't have an idea since our medicare in this part of the globe is not as extensive as the one in the USA or any first world countries. But I have learned that it is important for a person to find the right coverage, one that suits his need. Now how do you do that? Most people ask for assistance from people in the know. They say that it's time consuming going through all of it and yet the coverage they need is not met. But these people who are experts when it comes to this field can give you the right coverage and can also tackle your Medicare part D plan. To me this is very important since whatever sickness you'll have will be dependent on the prescription drugs you will take.

It's a Responsibility

Friday, June 17, 2011

When I was newly married, I really didn't think about what's going to happen in the future. But when I started having kids, I started worrying too. I don't know if this is a natural thing, maybe it is because I am not the only one feeling this way. Children really make a lot of difference. They make us think about getting life insurance, it's actually some sort of a security for them. We won't live forever so it's actually favorable if as early as now we protect the financial well-being of the family. Now if you are interested in getting one, it's available online. All you need to do is browse the internet and see which policy suit your needs. It's as easy as that!

Proud Campbell Owner

I can't believe I now own a pair. I made a reservation at The Forum (SM Makati) several months ago. I left my name and contact number and the style I intend to buy. I never got a call from them. When I asked them about it, they said that probably the sales person wasn't able to put my name on the list. Ok, forgiven. Forgiven because even if my name wasn't on the list, they still accommodated me. They gave me the Lita (black) that I asked them to reserve for me. Thank you very much.

I love the shoes, it's sky-high alright, but it's very comfortable, not at all ill-fitting. You know that it's really worth paying for the price. Surprisingly it's even cheaper to buy it here in the Philippines, I wonder why. Is is probably because Philippines holds a special place in Jeffrey's heart?

So How Tall Are You?

Tuesday, June 07, 2011

The husband has just wrapped up his photo shoot for a magazine. This is not really the first time that I've seen tall people but it seems like they get taller and taller everyday. These batch of models are really tall and they are very young. I wonder if they were given hgh releaser. Sometimes I wish I was as tall as them or even half as tall. I know, I am wishing for the impossible since I am past the age already. Well my kids have a few years left for them to grow tall, so maybe I'll just wish for them, teehee!

Bucket for the Daughter

Thursday, June 02, 2011

I finally finished the bucket hat that my daughter requested. If you notice part of the crown has a different color, it's because I ran out of yarn. I couldn't find the color that I used anymore so it left me no choice but to pick the closest color. It looks strange, half of the crown looks dirty including the brim. Hopefully the crown with the light color won't be seen when worn. Tsk, I failed in this project.
