Fiber Optic Cables

A lot of telephone, internet and cable companies have shifted to fiber optic cables. This is the latest trend today. It used to transmit light signals over long distances. And since fiber optic cables are thinner, it can be bundled more allowing more phone lines and cable channels. The loss in signal is also less compared to the conventional copper wire.
