Longer Hair...I Wish!

The last time I had my hair past the bra line was I think 4 years ago. I can't seem to grow it to that length anymore. Before it even reaches the bra line, I go for a pixie cut. Crazy right? I know I can be silly at times but it makes me happy. And since I can't get to grow it in the length that I want, I decided to purchase hair extensions, 100% human hair. Freaky says my daughter coz she imagines it being someone else's hair. Add to that I told her that the owner of the hair is dead. Now she won't even touch it, much less wear it.

Party Momma

While watching some makeup tutorials at youtube, I came across this vid that demonstrates how a faux hawk hairdo is done. I've been doing it to myself for 2 days now, one with curls and today it was tied in a bun. I went to collect rent today and "wore" my faux hawk bun. When the tenant saw me, she said something like this. "Galing ka ng party?" (Did you just come from a party?) I didn't know what to say and what to think as I was caught offguard. But I was more than amused than mad. This is actually the first time they see my "fixed". When I go collect the rental money monthly, I usually wear plain street clothes, in other words, I didn't have the "salon look", LOL. But today aside from the fact that I fixed my hair, I wore falsies too!

I'm No SuperWoman

I'm down with a flu. Being down with a flu doesn't mean that I can't go online, staying in bed is boring after all. I know I am stubborn, and I am to take the much needed rest. Don't worry, even if I went online the whole of yesterday, I took naps in between. Now I feel a little better, except that I seem to bark like a dog every now and then. Darn why did I forget to put Vicks on my sole of my feet? I read somewhere that it helps especially with coughing. Oh I'm gonna try it tonight.

Shopping Again?

My oh my! I know I just got back from Singapore and yet I am still shopping? I can't stop myself from buying stuff offered on prices you can't resist. Ok let me tell you. A mango jeans selling at P3,500 (about $77) is now P999 (about $22), an Italian Stilleto that used to sell about the same price as the jeans is now P999 (about $15). Now tell me, would you pass up the opportunity? I won't hehe. I have not been shopping for quite a while now, well except for cloths from Divisoria. It's not at all major, so I have the right to shop now. I didn't do any major shopping in Singapore too. Teehee!

A Fun Way to Welcome Vacation

Since summer vacation officially started, I have the luxury of bonding with the kids almost every night. What better way to bond...well having a midnight snack. Tonight, we had a different bonding. We had a bottle of spritzer to finish...some queso de bola and good old chippy. The boy was even kidding me, "Mom, let's watch HBO." It's a private joke that only the 3 of us understand. We kept on laughing, in between drinking and eating. This is one thing that their Dad is missing, because he is already fast asleep. You see he is not used to sleeping late, while the rest of us are turning into zombies. What fun!

Busy, Busy, Busy

January is a really busy month for us. It is the time of the year we frequent the various City Halls around the Metro. If you want to avail of a discount with the real property taxes you are paying, then you should do it during the first quarter of the year. And I am talking of a 20 percent discount. Gosh that is big moolah! It is also during this time that we renew our business permits. You can just imagine the long lines, but really I've been used to it already. If you ask me all about red tape, sorry I don't do that, well as much as possible.

I am so looking forward to go the the Manila City Hall. Not because I get excited falling in line, hell NO! It's because there is a Mall across it and I can kill time by window shopping. Window Shopping it is, remember, I'm a rehabilitated shopaholic. Beh!
