Friends Came Over

Honestly I am not confident with my cooking yet. This is the reason why I don't like to invite friends over for lunch or dinner. I only cook for the family and thank God they appreciate my cooking. Anyway N requested if I can cook for his friends who came over for a photo shoot. He asked me to make salad, pumpkin soup, pasta with shrimp and asparagus in parsley and garlic and baby back ribs. So I did, I woke up early to go to the wet market so that I can get all the ingredients fresh. I started cooking at around 8 am and I was done by 12. I'm glad they liked what I prepared for them.

The controversial Francesca is in town for a short vacation. Of course we have to see her! Ever since I became friends with her, everytime she comes home, we (me and Cuz ) make it a point to see her. We agreed to meet at Bonifacio High St. I remember bringing them here the last time she came home. This time we had lunch at ClawDaddy's, minus Michel. Once again we had a great time...great food, great friendship!

Great News

I just got a friendster message from a friend whom I have not gotten in touch with for a very long time already. It was nice to hear from her. She's got kids of her own now. I remember doing the photography for their wedding, and my daughter Ish was one of her flower girls too. They have moved to the US after the wedding and has lost touch ever since. But I was really happy getting a message from her. She also mentioned that her sister (a very close friend of ours too) is doing good. Her favorite pastime is playing golf and she is very good at it already. I wonder what kind of golf bags she uses. I hope she comes across this entry so she'll have an idea where to get the most affordable golf accessories next time.

Going Big Time

Remember this entry? Well, he finally made it as a print ad model. It came out on Philippine Star on September 28. Am I proud of him? Yes I am, although sometimes this guy's really annoying to the max! ^_^ I wish him more print ad projects so he can finally treat me, bwaaahh!

Batch Meeting

I once again attended the general meeting of our batch(HS) held at the conference room of my alma mater, Trinity College. Since we will be hosting the 25th(yikes) Alumni Homecoming this coming February 2006, we had to work overtime for the preparations. It's been nice seeing some more batchmates, others I can recall, others not. But it's been good, we get to update on each others lives, reminisce a bit, laugh about the good old times. I will always look forward to these meetings, a time to renew friendships with long lost friends.

After the meeting, we were treated to dinner by Jing (now AVP of AIU Corporation, AIG) at Tempura. The fun and reminiscing cotinues! We can only laugh at the silly things we did back in High School. Thanks Jing for the wonderful dinner!
