I Love San Diego

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

If you have plans of visiting the US, please include San Diego in your itinerary. I've been there in 2005 and I can say I like the place. Too bad we didn't have time to explore the whole place. I didn't get to see much, but with the little that I saw, I really appreciated the place. I find it scenic, with all the greens and everything. I promised myself that the next time I'll go visit the US, I'll make sure that I will definitely visit San Diego again. There are a lot of affordable San Diego CA hotel around, well that is if my friend cannot accommodate me.

My Vegas Experience

Friday, October 31, 2008

Who among you are dreaming of going to Las Vegas? I think everyone I know wants to go there. We enjoyed our stay there and can't help talking about Vegas vacations. Our stay there was very memorable too. We stayed in a posh hotel and it was just awesome. It was there too that we got to watch the O Show. I was pretty amazed by their performance, each move was like jaw dropping. A lot of oooohhhs and ahhhhhsss, perfect show in other words. What we enjoyed most was the night scene. We walked the streets admiring all the beautiful lights coming from the hotels and all. It was really an awesome experience.

Most Visited Country in the World

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

Hubby has been to France already but he has not really seen much. He only spent two days in Paris because he had to be back to Manila for yet another wedding coverage. He actually had a wedding coverage in Spain, and that's the reason why he was able to see Paris. He stayed in one of the Paris Hôtels, and contrary to what many people believe, it's quite affordable he says. He promised to bring us all there and this time we just have to explore France more. I'd love to be able to visit Bordeaux. I want to enjoy the best tasting wine. I know I am uber excited since I already looked for places to stay. There are a lot of choices of Bordeaux Hôtels to choose from. While in France, of course we wouldn't miss visiting the oldest city which is Marseilles. Again here are some Marseilles Hôtels where we could stay. We might consider putting Toulouse in our itinerary and where else is the best place to stay? Of course only at these selected Toulouse Hôtels.

We could have another option too. Maybe we can rent some car and drive around France. I don't think it would be hard since France has a well developed system of highway. Most freeway links are toll roads, and for me it means only one thing. The roads are just smoother, hassle free and well maintained. Oh I shouldn't forget about renting only small cars, roads in France seem narrow. That's what I see in the movies. I also love the idea that there are plenty of hotels for road travellers. That means it's not that hard to be looking for accommodations even while travelling on road.

Accomodations in Germany

Monday, May 12, 2008

Hubby said that if ever we go to Europe, we shouldn't miss Germany. I read that the best month to go there is between May and September. Hmmm May, perfect, kids are on vacation during this month. According to some friends who have been to Germany, it's a must to see the place. Germany is rich in culture, and full of historic sites. It would be a great opportunity for the kids to learn part of world's history.
There are a lot of popular sites to visit in Germany. I'd love to see the castles, the Black Forest which is home to my favorite black forest cake, I wouldn't want to miss the Bavarian Alps too. Ah there's just too many to see in Germany. Each city has something wonderful to offer. Whether your in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, etc., there is always something special. I found out too on my readings that these are the recommended hotels where you can stay while in Germany. Check out Berlin Hotels, Köln Hotels, Frankfurt Hotels and Munich Hotels. It's affordable and the location is right in the heart of the city.

Europe Online Booking

Monday, April 21, 2008

Have you been to Dublin, Ireland? I have not been to this place but based on what I read, it is a place alive with history and heritage. These are the places I love to visit. I'd love to see medieval cathedrals, ancient city walls, architecture and so much more. Dublin Accomodation is not a problem since you can make last minute reservations online.

They say that Edinburgh is one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. Just like Dublin, it boasts of its fine medieval and georgian architecture. While there, the old town and new town are not to be missed. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Again Edinburgh Accomodation will never be a problem since there are a lot of available hotels to choose from. You can even book online if you want. If you decide to visit more places like Glasgow and Liverpool, you can find the cheapest Glasgow Accomodation and Liverpool Accomodation at cheaperthanhotels.co.nz.

Travel Asia

Wednesday, April 16, 2008

I am from Asia and I tell you, there's so much to see in this part of the world. I had a wonderful experience when I travelled to Singapore with my husband some few years back. There is just so much to do and we were not able to do all those things in our four day stay there. We've been to almost all their tourist attractions and it was just great. I love everything about Singapore, the food, the shopping, Sentosa, Night Safari, etc. If there are places that I'd like to go back to, Singapore is surely on my list. No worries because there are Cheap Hotels in Singapore that I can always stay at.

There's another place I recommend you go and visit. Not that I saw much of it, but based on the areas I've been to Bangkok is one of the best too. Shopping is to die for. With the 3 days I spent in Bangkok, all I did was shop, it's overwhelming. Oh I love the food there too, though it's a bit hot, I still love it. It was my cousin who invited me to go with her there. She said that she has found Cheap Hotels in Bangkok in the internet. And when I saw the rate, I immediately said yes. It was really very affordable and it's located in the heart of Bangkok. I love my Bangkok experience too.

This is one place that I have not been too. My daughter and I saw one TV special featuring Kuala Lumpur. She got so excited and listed it in her "places to visit". It's in my list too, since I've heard a lot about the place. I'd love to see the Petronas Tower. A friend has just been there and she said it was awesome. She recommended some Cheap Hotels in Kuala Lumpur where we can stay. Hmmm it's time to save some moolah again if I want to visit this beautiful place. How about you? Can you share some wonderful experiences of Asia?

Affordable Paris Accommodations

Friday, April 04, 2008

Her aunt promised to bring Ish to Paris. Yeah I know she is very lucky. They were suppose to go this summer but some things came up. Good thing plans changed because if not, things would be done last minute. It's nice to travel when everything is planned. If their plans pushed through, I know they will be staying in some hotel which will really charge high. Good enough it didn't materialize. Now I can suggest a few things to them. I will show them this website where they can book their stay. Maybe it would be nice if they can stay at this Paris bed and breakfast which is managed by a local. Wow this would mean a more personalized service. I heard too that the best tourist guides are the locals. Now if you are not comfortable staying in quite a smaller place, here is a list of Paris Hotels. The prices are quite affordable in my opinion. Oh you better be the one to take a look at the list so you can pick which Hotel Paris suits you and your budget.

A Great Travel Destination

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Have you been to Mexico? They say it's really beautiful especially the while sandy beaches. I actually want to hear a first hand information about this great travel destination. Like a story perhaps of a friend who has just been there. Although I already have an idea on how beautiful the place is based on stories I read and the feature once on Travel and Living, I can't get enough of it. They say that Mexico Vacations is really worth it. There are a lot of nice and affordable hotels. I chanced upon this website called karismahotels.com, and I was really impressed. They have resorts and hotels along the 200 km stretch of the white sandy beaches in Riviera Maya. Having to stay in one of their hotels is like a dream vacation by itself. I also read that it is a popular wedding destination. I am not surprised by this, I saw it in the pictures. It's really nice to hold weddings there, very romantic, and it can even be the place for your dream wedding to come true.

The City of Lights

Tuesday, January 08, 2008

I have yet to hear someone who has gone to Paris and not like it. Everybody seems to like this City of Lights. I've only seen it in movies and some television shows yet I find it really beautiful, how much more if I visit the place. My husband has been there a few years back, it was actually work related. I could have gone with him, but at that time the kids were still young and I just did not have the heart to leave them with their nannies. For now, I am just contented looking at the photos my husband took and his description of this beautiful city. But he promised to bring me there some day.

I think my daughter would even see Paris ahead of me. In two years time she will be graduating from high school, and her paternal aunt promised to gift her with Tours in Paris. She is looking forward to it already, even telling me that it won't be that long since the days come and go pretty fast. By then I will be helping them with their itinerary. I always go to the web whenever I make itineraries. I don't know, but I have always been successful in choosing the places to visit, things to do, etc based on my readings. And it is also online where I find great deals.

When Will I See Rome?

Monday, January 07, 2008

My husband has been talking about Rome a lot lately. Since he befriended a priest, he is pretty much convinced that he should visit Rome. Actually Rome is one of the cities he wants us to visit even before. We dream of travelling Europe some day and this city is included in our itinerary. Based on my readings, there are a lot of beautiful sights worth a visit. If you want to experience the Renaissance and Baroque Era, then Rome it is! I also read that the best time to go there is between April through June and September through October. Those months are considered warm and sunny, therefore you will be able to visit more places.

Due to excitement, I started reading about Rome like must see places, recommendations on where to dine and wine, shopping areas and where to stay. I also found the website of two leisure travel experts Mauro and Paola. They are both locals, and being locals they know very well the city. They can recommend Rome hotels where you can stay, budget being considered. And not only that, they can show you strategically located hotels for your convenience. I have always believed that if you want to discover all the beautiful places of the countries you are visiting, you should be asking the locals. In all our travels, this has remained true, it has helped us save time and enabled us to see more places.

Almost Paradise

Wednesday, December 26, 2007

OMG! I found a perfect getaway, be it summer or winter. Gosh when I saw this on the internet, I was like, I want to go there someday. I actually heard my husband and his friend talk about this place while we were having dinner one time. She is a well travelled lady, and Italy is one of her favorite destination. She was describing to us this place in Italy but I couldn't quite get the picture. When I finally saw the pictures on the internet, my jaw dropped. It's some sort of paradise. Imagine waking up in the morning with the Dolomite Mountains as your backdrop. Yes, it can be seen from any view especially if you stay at Hotel Interski **** - Val Gardena Dolomites. The hotel is located in the middle of Val Gardena, and accessible to every activity you can think of, be it summer or winter. I think I'd love to go there during the summer first. I want to experience nature at its best by hiking or even biking. I'd love to discover the heart of the Dolomites. It's also nice to go there during winter time. I heard that it's every skiers dream to visit that place. This will be added to my wish list, and I hope I get it anytime soon.

Blackpool's Hotel of the Year

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Are you planning a business or leisure trip to Blackpool, United Kingdom? Then I suggest you stay at Blackpool Hotels which is just 5 minutes away from the Blackpool Airport, and a few steps away from the railway station. It has 157 contemporary designed big rooms. It has been featured on TV, and has been regarded as chic, cool, and a haven of calm and style. It has also been voted as the Hotel of the Year at the Blackpool Tourism Awards. It has been getting good reviews from people who have stayed there. They say that the rooms are clean, and the hotel staffs are awesome and very helpful. Some of the reviews say that the rooms are spacious, ideal for the whole family. They also serve very good food. What's nice about the hotel is, it is strategically located, very close to the airport and the tram station. It is also adjacent to the Pleasure Beach which is the entertainment and adventure capital of Britain.

Let Us be Kids Again

These Theme Parks have been in the United Kingdom since 1896, thus making them the oldest theme park in UK. It's still the greatest crowd drawer and UK's biggest tourist attraction. The park has 125 rides and attractions for everyone. Gosh, you should check out their major rides. If you're a thrill seeker, then these major rides are for you. Expect a lot of twisting and turning at 235 feet high, ride in a suspended looping coaster that soars to amazing height with water effects, and experience the wooden rollercoaster ride. They also have what they call family rides for those ones who are not really thrill seekers like me. I checked out their family rides in the website, it's still exciting and can compare with the excitement when taking the major rides. Their indoor attraction is pretty cool too. They play mini movies for the whole family to enjoy, complete with seats that bump, tip and turn. This is a great theme park, where adults can feel like children again.
