Avril Concert for HER, Water Spa for HIM

AVRIL ROCKS!!!

There was a change of plan at the last minute...instead of him going with his daughter to Avril's concert, he made me go...boy was i happy...waahoo!!!both of us enjoyed the concert, although we had to stand on our seats just to be able to see the stage...we were armed with a binocular, but it was useless though...that didn't keep us from enjoying the concert...both of us sang...Trisha danced a little, she was still a bit shy, while i was really up to my feet dancing...can you imagine that...hahaha



Since the little boy was not going with us to the concert, his Dad treated him to a water spa...he says he enjoyed just a bit coz nobody was with him, and the water keeps on punching him...but watching him from a distance, i guess he had a good time, but could have been better if his sister was with him.

I'm No Cinderella...

I'm no cinderella SHE says...i'm just doing household chores...

Yes, i asked/forced her to wash the dishes today...and she goes why me? I had to explain to her that she should learn how to do household chores young as she is...she is not convinced...had to tell her that it's not everyday that we have helpers doing things for us...and to be able to run the household properly, she has to learn to do some chores, washing the dishes included...she's now a little convinced...i gave her an example of somebody we know who was not trained to do some household chores...now she was fully convinced...stood up from where she was seated and goes..."Mom how do i start doing it?"

I'm happy really that she did it, even if it took a lot of convincing...i remember the time when Mom used to tell us to do things at home even if we had helpers around...i remember being assigned to wash the dishes every lunchtime, even wash and iron clothes, clean the house, etc... I had the proper training i must say, if not, will i be able to run my household effectively today? Thank you Mom for teaching me, and thanks too to my 2 elder sisters for seeing to it that i did my part of the training...

Pizza...Motorcycle Ride...and Coffee

It's such a wonderful feeling not having to wake up early...do nothing...less traffic...less people...and these happens only on Holy Week...

The kids requested to have pizza...18 inch at that...of course from Yellow Cab, the only pizza house that has it...and a glass of soda...as my son always says..."This is the life"

half of it is bacon and double cheese for the kids, and the other half Anchovy Lovers for the adults

In the evening, Cuz and I decided to meet at TheaterMall to have coffee...

Spent Some Time With...

I was in the mood for some nail art when i woke up this morning...so i spent some time "dressing up" my finger nails...

Then we decided to spend some time with our respected families...first stop was at my parents house...we had lunch there...played a little badminton...went biking...

i remember going biking a lot when i was still single...i realized how i missed it when i did it today...too bad i didn't do it with my biking partner Jon, he's now in Dubai working...

We had dinner this time over at my in-laws...Josh had his first "real" massage and he liked it...now he wants to have it at least once a week...tsk, tsk, tsk...

I am sooo looking forward to Mondays

I wish it was Monday all the time...know why? i get to play badminton with the pinoybadminton peeps...it gets exciting all the time really...but tonight? not quite...i was always paired with this newbie...i know, i know...i shouldn't be complaining at all, we all started from being that, but still...

Before i joined this group, i asked my friend how the people play there, and i asked her how i faired...and she told me that i could get by...so i tried playing with them...i'm being a hypocrite here if i say that i enjoyed todays game...I DID NOT...good thing my last game was super ok, at least i didn't get to go home disappointed...

Please don't get me wrong here, i'm just letting out my disappointment...you know how i always look forward to Mondays...

But Mom...

We went to church today, not to the church where we regularly attend, coz we were kinda late already. Upon reaching the church, there was this girl singing in front and it was really loud...since it was my son's first time to attend (he usually attends Sunday School and not the worship service), here's what he said: "Mom, i guess we are in the wrong place, this is not a church but a concert". I had to explain to him everything, even the length of time coz we got there at around 10:30 and the service ended close to 1 pm.

After church, i gave the kids a treat by having lunch at Megamall, wherelse? Your guess is right...their favorite YOSHINOYA...After lunch each of them picked some stuffs, oh me? for the 1st time, i didn't get anything for myself...

We were not contented yet, after Megamall, we proceeded to Greenhills to buy some more stuffs...it was indeed a long Sunday...got swollen gums from eating too much, i just had my slpint resurfaced, so im not as yet used to it...

A Busy Saturday

We started the day visiting our dentist...Patricia had her braces checked...Joshua on the other hand was checked on the progress of his trainers...They were both in the right track...I had my share too, dentist had to do some resurfacing on my splint and a little adjustment, which caused a headache, my first eversince i was treated with my tmj...i'm going to see her again tomorrow to make some more adjustments as it really causes discomfort.

In the afternoon, we went to World Trade Center for the 10th Worldbex, to scout for some stuffs for the house we're constructing. I found the mosaic tiles i soooo wanted for our bathrooms in different funky colors...definetely im getting it...and i can't wait.

Then we proceeded to Cuz's house for Kuya Rey's birthday dinner...we had some miscommunication here...original plan was dinner. I didn't get Cuz's SMS that they changed it to lunch instead...she even left a message in my comments section, which i wasn't able to read too...
Anyways, since we were headed to Tomas Morato and they were there too, we decided to meet at Pho Hoa and had dinner there...

it's just unfortunate that i didn't enjoy my food because of the extended headache i had...tsk, tsk...too bad! Thanks Cuz for the treat...

Obedience Training for...

We all gave Omega, our german rottweiler "moral support" as Nelson decided to bring him to a "dog school" and have him evaluated for possible training...

he's getting ready for his baptism of fire

It's just so scary watching all those dogs with their attack stunts...at first we all stayed in the van and just watched from a distance...you can't blame us, it's our first time to witness such thing, you know...but after watching 5 dogs do their thing, we were kinda relaxed already...it's fun after all.

With regards to Omega, he has to have his obedience training first, and that means he'll be away from us for about 2 months and go to a "boarding school", afterwhich he can be trained as an attack dog...i wonder if Nelson will allow him to be away for 2 months...we'll see...

I'm so sorry to have missed Cuz's invitation to have coffee with them...had they called earlier, i could have arranged everything...next time Cuz!

he's kinda serious with his training and says he wants to be the best badminton player there is...way to go kiddo!

School is finally out for the kids...YES! that means i have my nights all free...YEHEY!

My son strikes back again...after helping him out with his Science subject, he gave me a BIG hug, and a BIG kiss... "Mom, you MAY NOT be the MOST BEAUTIFUL mom in the WORLD, but you are the BESTEST!!!!" hhhmmmm...at least i'm the BESTEST...BEST OF THE BEST! true to its every word...kids never lie...bwwwaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!

I Was Like...

Today i invited CUZ to go malling...i left the house at 3 pm, to be able to get to Shangri-la Mall at 4 pm, the agreed time. We met at Mango, our fave shop, got some stuffs...since Cuz didn't have anything for lunch, we decided to eat at Cibo...we had pasta and beef tenderloin with mushrooms...Cuz was surprised/amused seeing me EAT, she expected me
to slow a bit since there was an appliance in my mouth, which made her say..."hhhmmm may appliance pa yan ha."

Then the shopping continues...got more stuffs...we chanced upon this store...

initially i wanted to buy a shawl(pashmina)...

while searching for the color i wanted, i remembered HERDA, a Malay blogger from Singapore whose entries i read everyday...so i thought of doing this with the pashmina

and while i was looking at some more items, i found this( a crocheted poncho)...and ended up buying it, instead of the pashmina...

then we had dinner at a japanese restaurant, and wrapped up the night at Starbucks



It was like i went to work...i was out for 8 straight hours...getting home at 11 pm...and didn't get tired at all...thank you Cuz, i had such a wonderful time with yah!

I Hate Going to...

I usually ask my "angel" to transact with my bank, but today i had no other choice but to go and make the deposit. When i got to the bank, the line was long, but i was in the mood to fall in line thinking that it won't take me that long since there were 4 tellers...But i was wrong... Am not kidding, it took more than 30 minutes before my turn. I was once a bank teller, and i should know. One simple trasanction wont last 5 minutes...and they couldn't give me the reason that all of them were new, as i've seen them way way before, and my gosh they are not that young looking...i just don't understand why dilly-dallying is in their system thinking that they should be of service first and foremost...they are the type of tellers that keep on monitoring the long lines instead of doing their job...no wonder up to now they are still in that "cage"...and yes i lost my temper...i should have opted for the assistance offered by the assistant manager...maybe next time, as i have learned my lesson...

Teaching for the last time...

English Finals starts Monday for the kids...so here i am, helping them review...very surprising, i didn't fight with any of them...usually i lose my patience coz they don't concentrate...my little boy even hugged me and kissed me...hhhhmmmm...life is good...the most rewarding part? Nelson bought us Pizza...yippeeee...life is indeed good!

Foreign Object In My...

I had an appointment with my dentist today...finally had the appliance i'd be wearing 24/7...it feels really odd, having a foreign object in my mouth...it's so hard to eat, can't figure out how i'd chew...plus there's a slight lisp...oh well, it's just a matter of getting used to it...and the good news, i didn't have a headache considering the sudden change of temperature...GOOD!

Also met with CUZ, we had dinner first at Dulcinea, while waiting for the last full show. Hitch was hilarious, we had so much fun.
