A Trucking Job for You
Tomorrow Maybe?
Tuesday, February 26, 2008
Woohoo, it took 2 weeks only, or should I say a week. Yikes I don't remember the date I brought it there. I'm too lazy to take a look at the receipt. Anyways, I am very happy that I can get it back now. It's hard to be using someone else's laptop.

Don't Forget My Gloves
Friends
Look at that! Her collection grew over the years, some bought, the rest were presents to her by her friends. It keeps her company every night, when she sleeps. She no longer has her nanny beside her when she sleeps. She loves all of them, and wouldn't want to dispose any of them. Just like me with my Trixie, she loves to dress them too. We have not gone to the mall together yet to buy clothes for all her friends, but we will, when we have the time to do so. Maybe when school's done we can do that.
Leave it to Them
Moving from one place to another is really difficult. We've experienced that twice already and it's really very stressful. We didn't hire movers though coz at that time we had a pool of workers and a truck which we rented. But it's totally different if we hired professional movers. I would not have experienced headaches. I would have hired something like the services rendered by this New York Moving Company. Well, lessons are learned the hard way, but at least next time I know better. I will let them do the hard work next time while just sitting pretty, lol.

Thank goodness my Fashion Blog is back and with a new look this time. It took me some time to fix it, actually I just didn't have the time to do it. And I got lazy too, coz everything was erased, I mean all the entries. Good thing I was able to save copies of the layout. It's not updated though, first quarter is just so busy and I am always in a hurry. Don't have the luxury of time to be taking self portraits ^_^.
Flowers for your Wedding
Friday, February 22, 2008
We are in the wedding business, although not as a florist but I pretty much have an idea how it would cost. It's grand, I mean if you want to have beautiful floral arrangements for your wedding, it will cost you a fortune. But hey, did you know that you can get pretty flowers at affordable prices? I know of a website where you can buy not just bulk roses but different kinds of flowers you want to have on your wedding day. And why do I say it's affordable? It's because you buy the flowers directly from them. No more middlemen here which is sometimes the reason why prices of flowers go up. Check out their wedding flower packages which can save you a great deal on your budget.

Personalized Lockets
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
What do you think of that gold locket? It's pretty right? Yes, I want to have that. It's a 14k gold locket where I can have our picture lasered. It's 100 percent waterproof and will last a lifetime. That's one of the designs I really find cool from the Gold Lockets collection. Silver Lockets are also available in different designs. You should check it out. It would make a wonderful present too for your loved ones. How about a Mother's Day gift to your Moms? You can put the picture of the family on one side of the locket, and a special message on the other side of the locket. Cool idea, right?

I Miss my Laptop
Back to the laptop. The service center says that it's going to stay with them for 3 weeks. The problem is the hardware that handles the wireless connection. Would you believe they don't have the parts available? Yep, they will source out, all the way from Singapore. BOO!

Classy Furniture
Wow! This is my kind of furniture stores. I love everything I see and there are numerous pieces I want to own. They carry different name brands, and guess what? They offer 40 to 50 percent off retail prices. They've been doing this since they started in 1949. You should see their collection, it's really nice, very simple and yet with a lot of class. Every room would look beautiful. I also like the idea of them putting a room planner in their website. When we built this house where we are staying, I've been going a lot of room planner over the net just to get ideas how I should fix the house.
Best Investment
Sunday, February 17, 2008
Prices of almost everything is going down except the gold price. If you check the world market for the price of gold, there was never a time that it depreciated. Currencies depreciate quite fast, so if ever you have extra which you don't intend to use, it's better if you invest in gold. Investing in gold has higher returns compared to all the products banking/financial institutions have to offer. It has been said that buying gold is one of the best ways to preserve one's wealth and buying power. If you are interested in investing in gold, why don't you hover over to Monex.com. This company has been America's gold, silver and precious metals investment leader. And not only that, they are known to be the best dealer due to their competitive prices.

Again thank you so much for being thoughtful. We (me and Ish) loved what you gave us.

Red is the Color of the Day
Thursday, February 14, 2008
This VEE day tag was passed on to me by Cuz, the lady with me in the picture.
START COPY HERE
Here are the rules:
1. Post YOUR photo wearing red, may it be a red top, bottom, the least would be red accessories if you hate wearing red… If you can’t find one, you still have an option…. Either post your Significant Other’s photo or your child’s photo, if you have one. Of course, they should be wearing red.
2. Let us know the reason why you were wearing red that particular day. Was it your birthday? Is red your fave color or was it the shirt that you first saw in your closet that day?
3. Tag 3 people close to your heart. By the way, they have to be in your blogroll. No cheating heart pleaseeeeeeee!
4. Once you’re tagged, could we please keep it going - just for this month?
END HERE
That picture was taken on my 41st birthday. I was not really intending to wear red, but since The Chairman insisted that it's lucky to wear something red on your birthday, I did.
Just to remind you not to cheat: tag 3 people close to your heart =)

New Look
Monday, February 11, 2008
Nope it's not me although there's something new with me too. Ish my 14 year old daughter decided she wants to have a new look. This time she wants to curl her hair. She says she pities me everytime I iron her hair. I actually do it almost everyday. Really Ish? Is it really me? Or you were just convinced that you look prettier with curly hair. Anyways, I was with her at Tony and Jackey when she had her hair done...it's called digital perm. It's soft and bouncy, big curls, the way she likes it.
And what's new with me? I had another eyeglasses made, this time with nosepads on...I still wanna have "betty boop" lashes even with glasses on.

The Much Talk About
Sunday, February 10, 2008
Oh no! Didn't notice that I have not posted in this blog for ages already. A lot of things came up after the reunion. It was one helluva busy week really. I didn't even know how I survived. Anyways, I posted some pictures of the reunion here. You can actually see a few more in my other blog. This is the longest reunion celebration so far. Non-stop partying! There are plans of celebrating the Diamond Year in America, whoa! how cool is that. This is just a plan but knowing the people behind, they're gonna make extra effort to make this happen. Woohoo, so looking forward to celebrating 30 years...gosh I'm old =(

Here's a preview of what happened last Saturday at the HS Grand Alumni Homecoming. That picture was taken right after the toast. People were stationed at all corners of the quadrangle to pop out confetti right after the toast. Fireworks followed which was really awesome. After which the band played 80s music and on with the non-stop dancing. A lot congratulated us for a job well done. We were the host for that night as we were also celebrating our silver year. A lot say that so far that night was the best!

Ways to Reduce Stress
Sunday, February 03, 2008
I found this in my inbox and I thought of sharing this with all of you. It's not that hard to reduce stress after all.
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time, so you can start your day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
14. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
15. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
16. Get enough rest.
17. Eat right.
18. Get organized so everything has its place.
19. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
20. Make friends with Godly people.
21. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus.'
22. Laugh.
23. Laugh some more!
24. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
25. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
26. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
27. Sit on your ego.
28. Talk less, listen more.
29. Slow down.
30. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
See? It's easy to have a stress-free life!
Oh Well
And since he says no to all the travels without him, I decided to just spend my earnings from doing sponsored posts by purchasing this. It's a pretty good buy since I got it at 20 percent off. Now I have something pretty to wear when I go work.
