Feel the Comfort

You know how my son loves massages. Before he goes to bed, he would either ask me or his Dad for a massage. There are nights that he gets disappointed because we can't give him one. One time we went to the mall, the hubs pointing to a massage chair and says, "this is what we should get Josh, so that if none of us is available, he can still get his nightly massage." I was like, oh sure, and started imagining myself sitting in that massage chair. ^_^

Nope, Not Tomorrow =(

I thought I was gonna get it last Wednesday, because that's what Josh told me. He was the one who picked up the call and the guy from the service center left a message. Yes, he got the message right but he added something to it. I think he was playing an online game that's why he didn't pay much attention. Good thing I called the service center to verify if indeed my laptop was for release. And the answer I got was a NO. The part already arrived from Singapore but they are still in the process of installing and testing it. My, my, I'm getting a little impatient already. I hope to get it back before school's out, if not I will have to content myself with my 8 year old laptop =( that is sooooooooooooo slow.

Tomorrow Maybe?

Somebody from the service center called last Saturday. It was Josh who took the call. Apparently I had 2 callers, I think Josh got it all mixed up, the messages. Now he's not even sure if my laptop is for release already. All he remembers is that the part already arrived from Singapore. I totally forgot about the message today. I should have called to make sure if indeed I can now get my laptop. I have to call them early in the morning tomorrow, because if i'm not gonna get it anytime soon, I will be charged with a parking fee.

Woohoo, it took 2 weeks only, or should I say a week. Yikes I don't remember the date I brought it there. I'm too lazy to take a look at the receipt. Anyways, I am very happy that I can get it back now. It's hard to be using someone else's laptop.

Most of us want to look trimmed, not too thin, not too fat. I for one, I really watch what I eat to be able to maintain the frame that I am now in. Friends

Look at that! Her collection grew over the years, some bought, the rest were presents to her by her friends. It keeps her company every night, when she sleeps. She no longer has her nanny beside her when she sleeps. She loves all of them, and wouldn't want to dispose any of them. Just like me with my Trixie, she loves to dress them too. We have not gone to the mall together yet to buy clothes for all her friends, but we will, when we have the time to do so. Maybe when school's done we can do that.

Leave it to Them

Moving from one place to another is really difficult. We've experienced that twice already and it's really very stressful. We didn't hire movers though coz at that time we had a pool of workers and a truck which we rented. But it's totally different if we hired professional movers. I would not have experienced headaches. I would have hired something like the services rendered by this New York Moving Company. Well, lessons are learned the hard way, but at least next time I know better. I will let them do the hard work next time while just sitting pretty, lol.

Pretty Sunday

Introducing my niece, Martha Francesca, she's a little over 2 and the youngest daughter of my brother. She's really very funny and such a cutie. When we went to visit my Mom, she saw my nail polish. She said she wanted her nails done too. So I promised her that the next time I come back I will be bringing different colors of nail polish. The next time I visited Mom, I totally forgot about my promise but she did not. She was sad and I had to explain to her that I forgot. So last Sunday her dream came true. She has been telling her Dad that Ninang (that's how she calls me though i'm not her godmother)will be putting "cutex" on her nails. When I called her, she was excited. She even asked me if I brought eye shadow with me ^_^. We had makeup session too a few sundays ago. I told her that it was not part of the promise. I had to promise again to bring my make up kit next Sunday. While putting the nail polish, I told her not to move, apparently she got tired because in the middle of the session she wanted me to quit ^_^. Well the price she has to pay for wanting to have beautiful nails.

I Miss my Laptop

It's pretty hard not having to do stuffs in my own laptop. I have my old one though, but it sucks big time. It's slow, very slow, even slower than a turtle, and I get impatient. Now I'm using my son's laptop, but only upon his disposal, if you know what I mean. I take advantage of it while there is school, because come weekend even if I cry blood, I can't use it. My son says I'm uber, because he is at my side while I'm doing this entry.

Back to the laptop. The service center says that it's going to stay with them for 3 weeks. The problem is the hardware that handles the wireless connection. Would you believe they don't have the parts available? Yep, they will source out, all the way from Singapore. BOO!

Oh dear! I think I need this magnifying glass anytime soon. Yeah, I am not kidding. At my age, I shouldn't be wearing reading glasses yet, but as it is I'm wearing a reading glass fit for golden girls. I'm a bit early I admit that's why I'm saying I need a magnifying glass. It's a good thing there are a lot of choices. I believe for my age I should be discreet in using it, lol. I'd pick something small, pocket size perhaps. I actually did not expect to receive this from her, but I am happy and thankful that she remembered me on V day. I actually thought of giving her her favorite candy on V day, but since I was so busy, I totally forgot to get it for her. Well a belated V day present is not bad. I'm going to the area where I buy the candies tomorrow. You see I have to take the LRT just to buy those candies =)

New Look

Nope it's not me although there's something new with me too. Ish my 14 year old daughter decided she wants to have a new look. This time she wants to curl her hair. She says she pities me everytime I iron her hair. I actually do it almost everyday. Really Ish? Is it really me? Or you were just convinced that you look prettier with curly hair. Anyways, I was with her at Tony and Jackey when she had her hair done...it's called digital perm. It's soft and bouncy, big curls, the way she likes it.

And what's new with me? I had another eyeglasses made, this time with nosepads on...I still wanna have "betty boop" lashes even with glasses on.

Silver

Here's a preview of what happened last Saturday at the HS Grand Alumni Homecoming. That picture was taken right after the toast. People were stationed at all corners of the quadrangle to pop out confetti right after the toast. Fireworks followed which was really awesome. After which the band played 80s music and on with the non-stop dancing. A lot congratulated us for a job well done. We were the host for that night as we were also celebrating our silver year. A lot say that so far that night was the best!

1. Pray

Oh Well

Plans of going out of the country (Beijing & Shanghai) is not happening. I'm quite sad about it, N does not allow me to go out of the country or even out of town without him. I had to beg off from all the invitations from cousins. Cuz wanted me to go with them to Jakarta, but again when I asked permission he said no =(
